first of all, I actively wince at the word “should” sometimes. I’m trying to say it less.. According to the Harvard Business Review, saying ‘should’ is not good for you.
While “should” statements are not bad by nature, most of them fail to inspire us and result in negative emotions.
In the wake of last night’s debate-slash-Kamala’s-takedown-of-Trump, and today being 9/11, today has been fun(ny) on social media. I know, I know, it’s terrible to admit, but I believe that at our core - as humans - we are meant to be joyful. Should be joyful, if you will. On the contrary, if we’re in pain, then we deal with it through humor…

Not to mention my favorite moment of the night — no idea where the next word would be going:

For Song of the Year, it would be a gag for Sabrina to win with “Espresso” but I would also love to see it go to Kendrick Lamar for “Not Like Us”.

Okay, I’m going to breeze past all of the other categories to Song of the Summer because I love engaging in this debate!
Song of the Summer SHOULD go to Chappel Roan for Good Luck, Babe! but I can also see some Label push for Shaboozey to win with A Bar Song (Tipsy)” which would make sense… all that to be said, Chappel won the People’s vote.
I can’t wait to see her perform!

And Miley Cyrus won with “Wrecking Ball” over “Fancy” when “Dark Horse” wasn’t even nominated… tea.
