Paris Hilton is still the blueprint

I spent the weekend getting incredibly silly in New York City (Brooklyn mostly) and wanted to update y’all today with some new-new on Wybrations.

Most Important New Release: Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Vesion)

Following in Taylor’s footsteps, we’ve got Paris’ version of a 2006 throwback from her debut album, with a Kim Petty feature, and you have to hear it. Coincidentally, I’ve been listening to the 2006 version a lot lately, because it’s that good. Sadly, though, we don’t have the music video for this version yet.

Other important new releases:

• Prescription by Remi Wolf 💫 Indie-pop and Spotify-owened-playlist darling Remi Wolf recently released a beautiful love song that got me in my feels. Her live performance of this song proves she’s not only an amazing songwriter, but also has the chops to back it all up. Seeing her live (with all the gen z girlies) is on my 2023 bucket list.

• Enjoy Your Life by Romy 🫡 With only 3M streams on Spotify, this recently released single by Romy produced by Fred Again, Jamie xx, and Stuart Price is a surefire queer club bangerrrrr. Its music video would make for a great pre or post-game YouTube viewing with the girls. And we can expect The xx singer’s debut solo album to come later this year.

• It’s Euphoric by Georgia (Mura Masa Remix) 😩 This remix goes hard—perfect for a car ride on your way out. There’s something in the Brittish tap water, or maybe it’s just their lack of anxiety thanks to the national healthcare system, because the way these two can create such magic is unmatched. A major pop slay.
